What to do when your Visit Niagara-on-the-Lake!

As the spring/summer/fall season is upon us unfortunately because of the continuing influence of Covid-19, many events and activities have been either cancelled or modified again this year.

Wineries are Open but with limited capacity for wine tastings and offering creative ways to providing social distancing for everyone, book your reservation early. The Niagara Wineries Association winesinniagara.com has released a list of when its wineries are planning to reopen. Check out your favorite local winery for updates as when they gradually reopens.

Ghost Tours are back at Fort George. running from May to the end of October. Experience Fort George after dark! Join them for a candlelit tour, where you will hear a score of ghostly accounts while being introduced to the fascinating history of haunted Fort George and Niagara-on-the-Lake. The tours typically run for 1.5 hours.

Would you like to join a guided tour of Niagara-on-the-Lake? Niagara Historical Museum offers weekend walking tours starting at the Queen’s Royal Park at the Gazebo. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the time of the tour. Tour size is limited to 6 people for social distancing. More information can be obtained at the NOTL Historical Museum which is open Thursdays to Mondays 10am-5pm.

Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours Get soaked or stay dry…both options are available! Many of Niagara Parks attractions are now open again. Their online COVID-19 Information Centre is there to help you plan your visit. Whitewater Walk, Aerocar, Butterfly Conservatory, etc. are all open. The Niagara Parks Power Station officially opened July 30, 2021! Guests will experience a multi-sensory daytime experience, watch the dormant station come to life through an immersive sight & sound show! This immersive experience features incredible 3D projection, interactive moments of wonder, and a breathtaking musical score in the heart of the power station. @NiagaraWineFest is gearing up with a new outdoor concert series and two weekends of Discovery Pass touring at 20 of your favourite Niagara wineries! Fort George Halloween Ghost Tours return this October, join them for their special Halloween Tours of Fort George! It’s the perfect time of year for a good ghost story!

Artistry by the Lake,Artistry by the Lake July 1st, 2nd & 3rd 2022



The Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce presents a juried show of over 80 artists and artisans. The show takes place in scenic Queen's Royal Park overlooking the mouth of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. Free Admission.
